Meet our musicians: Lenora Davis…
Lenora Davis
Instrument(s): B flat Clarinet
First performance with the band: March 17, 2019
What I like most about playing: It's fun to combine a community worth of people's skills/talents to create a unique performance!
My favorite musical memory: During orchestra rehearsal one day, my teacher was playing lead, then turned and asked what measure rest we were on! Always count your rests!
A fun fact about myself: I lived in Alaska for 32 years, including college, and was a scholarship member of the Fairbanks Symphony.
Three words I would use to describe Salem Symphonic Winds: Innovative, Challenging, Family
Short Bio: I was raised an Army brat! On base, we were able to start playing in the band in the 7th grade. After moving to Alaska, I was able to study clarinet with two Julliard grads all the way up in Fairbanks, Alaska! I became a music teacher & just started year 26!
